Reading Hour
Many nights, usually from seven to eight o’clock I pick something to read. There is usually nothing good to watch on TV, and it’s too late to be playing out side; so instead I pick up a book, and I go to a wonderful place found only between the pages, and my imagination.
If you read something good — share it with us, so that others can read it to.

There was a farmer that was driving on the open road. When...he felt a big bump. He jumped out of his truck and went to see what it was. It was a stranger. The farmer picked up the stranger, and took him to his house.
At the farmer's house, the farmer called a doctor so he can see what happened to the stranger. The doctor heard the stranger heart and took his temperature. The doctor said that he has lost his memory.
Then, the farmer let the stranger use some clean clothes. The stranger didn't know how to use the buttons on the pants. The stranger ate dinner with the Bailey's. It was hot soup. The stranger didn't know how to eat the soup. So, he copied the Bailey's daughter named Katy. She took a spoon full of the soup and then she blew across it.
Then, the next day the stranger went outside. There were two bunnies. They ran to the stranger. Then the bunnies went away and then the bunnies went away and then they turned around hoping the stranger would follow them.
Then Mr. Bailey told the stranger to work with him on the field.
The stranger didn't sweat. Next, Katy sat with the stranger on the ground. Katy was watching the sun set down with the stranger. There was a flock of geese above them in a V formation. He was fascinated by them. The stranger saw the green trees. He wondered why they weren't red and orange.
The stranger got his memory slowly and slowly each day. On that day at dinner, the stranger came with his old clothes. The stranger decided to leave. When he left, the air turned cold, and the leaves were no longer green.
There were some sketched words in frost that said, "See you next fall."

Abuelo and his grandson are having a dinner but the family hasn’t come. Abuelo and grandson get tired of waiting and waiting; so abuelo tells his grandson a story about three bears Papa Bear, Mama Bear, and Baby Bear.
I recommend this book, because it’s a fun story and if you ever get bored like abuelo read this wonderful story.

I am always reading a lot of books on computers, and graphic arts. And right now I am reading nightly stories by Ambrose Bierce; or the old Gringo, the two names are almost synonymous; after Carlos Fuentes published his book The Old Gringo. Myth has it that Ambrose Bierce left his home, and went to join Pancho Villa during one of the revolutions of Mexico. (Napierkowski)
